Working in a reduced capacity or have you had to temporarily shut down locations?
There are a number of items that should be addressed to ensure that the units are shut down properly and safely.
Suggested reduced use/shut down procedures include:
- Clean and sanitize ice machines.
- Gas units are properly shut down.
- Fryers are emptied and boiled out.
- Steamers are descaled and drained.
- Hot water heaters are flushed and drained.
- Walk-ins/coolers are addressed based on an individual basis
